Around San Agustín

Going North, the next thing to visit after San Agustin is the Tatacoa desert (desierto de la Tatacoa), next to Neiva. North-west of San Agustin and relatively closer is one of the colonial jewels of Colombia, Popayan, which is host to the best Semana Santa Festival (Easter Week) in te country.

And if you are still up for tomb raiding, head to Tierradentro, the second most important archeological site in Colombia.

Heading South, you should definitly consider a trip to Pasto and the incredible gothic church of the Santuario de las Lajas.
