The best activity you can Sunset from the Mirador Baricharado in Barichara is walk around the town and be overwhelmed by its beautiful architecture and harmonious streets. We strongly recommend going up the 6th street, pass the church and find the beautiful garden with sculptures of the '98 stone carving festival. From there you can also walk to the Mirador and enjoy the amazing view on the Río Suarez and the Chicamocha Canyon.

=> On your way, you will pass a nice cemetery well worthy visiting. Also, don't hesitate to get in the houses and hotels to check the beautiful colonial “inner courts”.

On your way down, you can relax for a few minutes in the main square, under the shadow of one of its old and big trees.

One of the best and more recommended activities is the walk from Barichara to Guane. It's better to do the walk in the early morning as you're likely to see a lot of birds.
