Other than the usual supply of empanadas or slices of pizza, budget eating options can be limited in El Poblado area. For a good value meal ´Conejos & Conejos´ offers daily (6.00am – 6.00pm) a set menu for only $6,000. Situated on Calle 10 not far from the giant Exito supermarket, this small restaurant / hostel would easily be missed unless you were looking out for it.

The collection of antique typewriters, Wurlitzer jukebox and (slightly unnerving) shelf of old dolls gives the interior some character and the standard set menu fare of soup, meat, beans, rice, salad and juice is surprisingly tasty. Don´t expect service that welcomes you in with open arms, but then for this price - who cares?!
