Bogotá Zona T or Zona Rosa

Enjoy to party? If the answer to this is yes then Bogotá is looking out for you.

Zona Rosa BogotaThe premier destination for just about everyone in Bogotá is Zona Rosa, also known as Zona T. Why are they known as this? Well, Zona Rosa is pretty much the nightlife district in every Colombian city and Zona T because... It looks like a T. Genius.

Zona Rosa (the Pink Zone) is located in the North of the City between Calles 79-85 and Carreras 11-15.

Just about overflowing with bars and clubs, Zona Rosa may not be the place to discover underground venues but it is the place to find plenty of A.S.S. (get your mind out of the gutter, we mean Aguardiente, Salsa and Spanish). The most popular destinations for travellers are The Pub, La Villa, El Coq, Hotel Quinto, Maroma, and Armando Records.

There’s also plenty of other places that are a little less known worth checking out, too. For cheap drinks and a great atmosphere try Porompompero. For a trendy setting and trendy people, try Kea. For the younger crowd check out Shanghai. For cheap drinks, try Punto 83. The list could go on and on.

La Villa Club BogotaZona Rosa’s nightlife is well documented and should not be missed out on, but the area also has much more to offer. There’s a great deal of excellent restaurants you can visit before your night out, including the delicious French cuisine at Balzac and Bogotá’s own version of the infamous Andres Carnes de Res.

There’s also a decent selection of fast food, which, considering the selection of great restaurants we don’t recommend, but if you want something quick (or drunken), with McDonalds, Burger King and, the pick of the bunch, El Carnal (Mexican).

There’s a great deal of shopping available, both in the shopping malls and on the street. You can find Zara, Mango, Bershka, Nike, H&M and much more in the area. If you’re looking for unique goods, there’s also a market that runs regularly just around the corner from the Carulla on Kr. 15 with Cll. 84.

=> If it’s entertainment you’re after, try Andino or Atlantis shopping malls for a trip to the cinema.
