Hostal A Mi Refugio Bogotà

If you are looking for a quiet and cheap hostal away from the crowd of western backpackers, go to A Mi Refugio en Teusaquillo. A Mi Refugio is a hostel with a soul as they try to attract clients from NGO's, universities research centers...

=> We stayed there for a few days and loved it, it's really quiet and the location is central so you can get in not time to La Candelaria or Chapinero. There lots of free services: wi-fi, coffee, nice common zone (with a small kitchen), storage facilities, lockers. It's a great place if you want to meet Spanish speakers (locals or from other South American countries).

Hostal A Mi Refugio BogotàSlightly more expensive than a hostel in La Candelaria but it is worth the extra pesos.

- Dorms from 30,700/night/person
- Single from 50,000/night/person
- Double from 56,000/night for 2

It's not very busy so you can sometimes have one of the dorms for yourself.
=> You can add breakfast for 5,000 pesos each.
There are not so many places to eat there at night so you might want to cook something for yourself or go out outside of the neighboorhood.
