The Virgin Mary sculpture on the way to the top of the hill

The start of the walk goes steadily upwards for about 45 mins until you reach a plateau where you have 3 possible walking options. Take the left path which leads to the sculpture of the Virgin and then the cross on top the hill. Once there, you can go back the same way or take the path down to the main road. The walk is really magical with amazing pine forest and captivating views of the city and the surroundings.

The path that goes straight gets you to a nice páramo after an hour’s walk. The one on the right leads to Monserrate in 2 to 3 hours.
