Parque de los Gatos or Cats Park Cali

The Iconic Gato de TejadaParque de los Gatos is a park along the Cali River hosting 16 cats' sculptures including the giant bronze El Gato del Rio by local artist Hernando Tejada.

The place is interesting and some of the sculptures are pretty cool, it should be visited as part of a Cali city center walk.

One of the Gata, Cats' Park CaliIn 1996, Cali recovered this space along the river to make place for the donated El Gato del Rio. Then in 2006, it added another 15 statues called Las Gatas del Rio to complete the original project. The park and the main statue have become a symbol of the regeneration of Cali since the dark years of the nineties.

The park is located on the Avenue del Rio, at the intersection of Calle 4 oeste.

Caleñas have the reputation to be the most beautiful girls of Colombia (which is not a small reputation to assume!)
They are a mix of white, black and natives origins who possess a particular talent for holding themselves and surely know how to move their hips!
