Plaza San Diego Cartagena
Once an auction area for slaves, the Plaza San Diego of Cartagena is surrounded by many restaurants and the beautiful Hotel Santa Clara.
Just a short walk away from Gabriel Garcia Marquez post-modern residence, it is a lovely and quiet place for lunch or diner. There are decent bars and restaurants available
=>Check the amazing swimming pool of the Sofitel. It's not cheap to swim there (we've heard 180,000 pesos!) so it's probably not worth bringing you're swimming costume if you're on a budget.
