For nature and hiking, Bogota is surrounded by Paramo, a unique ecosystem only found in a few Andean countries. There are several day hikes which can help you discovering the amazing fauna and flora of the Paramo. Don't miss the PNN Chingaza and the Lagunas de Siecha or the Birth of the River Bogota near Villapinzón.
