For more classical art forms, Colombian litterature is incarnated by Nobel Prize winner Gabriel Garcia Márquez and paintings and sculptures by the famous Antioquian Fernando Botero.
But this is just the tip of the iceberg, there's a lot more to discover from a country of 46 million people with a history dating back 3,500 years.
Colombian cinema although a small industry has some really quality films like the famous Maria Full of Grace. Watching Colombian films is also a great way to understand the country and its chaotic past before travelling there.
