"Amor y Sexo" are two things that have a very important place in the South American culture. In Colombia, people are extremely passionate and, of course, the hot weather can go some way to explain the active and intense sexuality found in the country.

Sex is present in many cultural things, such as the dance "Reggaeton" (which faithfully replicates the act of sex in mime and dance, see on the left).
The culture of beauty is present everywhere - in the media, in Novellas, or even in the everyday in the way many people present and dress themselves. There is also a massive business of plastic surgery in Colombia...
It doesn't mean that it is easy to have sex in Colombia though (at least with Colombian girls, it will be easier with men!).

Sadly, the culture can still be pretty macho and men are often quite unfaithful, having regular affairs and often having children with different women.
There is also a big business of girls looking for rich foreigners (which is by the way the case in every poor country of the world) using the Internet or hanging out to the "gringo places".
It's difficult to make an opinion on this, but it always makes us feel a little uncomfortable to see a young pretty girl hanging out with a guy 3 times her age. Of course there are (probably, we hope) some nice stories though, where both parties find each other interesting, and find happiness in this kind of relationship.

Colombia appears to be an extremely tolerant place to live different sexualities and there are massive LGBT (Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transsexuals) communities there. They even claim that Bogota is the Gay Capital of the World!
