Colombian Cinema
With the exception of Maria Full of Grace, which earned Catalina Sandy Moreno an Oscar for her role as a 17 year old drug mule, Colombian cinema rarely makes an impact internationally.
Yet, although most Colombian films take their inspiration from the violence of the 90’s or the drug business, there are some really inspiring films you should see before travelling.
