Leaving the city by the Via 40, just after Puerto Colombia, lies Climandario beach and the Pradomar hotel. It's a great place to spend a day on the beach, surf or party all night. Located South of Puerto Colombia, the beach is clean as protected from the pollution present on the Western side of the bay.
At the weekend, the Pradomar hotel (the only one there) turns its beach and outdoor patio into a Ibiza style club, a truly amazing party if you are there on the right night.
Pradomar has 2 very distinct sides: the rustic sheds for the Colombian working class with cheap food and drinks and the very comfortable hotel Pradomar with his expensive coktails and food (the best Pina Colada we've ever tasted!).
The Pradomar hotel is a great choice if you want to relax or enjoy the weekend parties. Also a good choice to rest after a day at the Carnaval.
Prices start from 150,000 for a double room and the food will cost you 50,000 per head but it is worth it.

Getting there
Taxis will cost you between 20,000 to 25,000 pesos one way to get there. You can take buses to go to Puerto Colombia and then take a taxi from there but that's a lot of work.
