San Gil Bars and Clubs

San Gil is not really a party destination. As regards to nightlife, the best place to start is to have a drink on the main square of the city, it's cheap, the weather allows it and you might chat with the locals or spot other travelers.

You can also go to the small commercial center near the main square, there are a few good bars for a coktail or a beer. Another option is to join the locals at the Tejo ground just outside the city.

For clubbing, options are limited and you need to take a taxi as the clubs are outside of town. Trapiche is your best option, it has 2 dance floors and is the most popular place in San Gil.
