San Agustin Ruins on a Horseback
Visiting El Tablon, La Chaquira, La Pelota and El Purutal as part of a horse-ride tour is a great way to mix archeology, exercise and stunning scenery.
The tour lasts about 4 hours and the ride is of little difficulty. In fact you are given quite a lot of freedom so you can ride the horse as fast or slow as you want. The view and the whole experience are amazing.
=> If you have the time and the possibility, it might be a good idea to combine the horse ride with a non-archeological activity like the white-water rafting or a walk to the city of San Agustin. Otherwise you might overdose on funeral statues...

The trip costs 30,000 per horse and 60,000 for the guide. So if you are 4, it will cost you 45,000. If you are 6, it will be 40,000. Entrance to the various parks is included.
All hotels and hostels can take care of the booking for you.
