The train to Bocas de Cenizas is a real adventure with beautiful sceneries, we thought about listing it in our Barranquilla Attractions and Visits section but we just would like to keep it as a little secret.
Another great spot is Pradomar where you can swim, surf or party like if you were in Ibiza!

Did you know? Barranquilla's name comes from the canyons that existed in the sector adjacent to the Magdalena. During the Spanish colonization, the name "barranca" was common in coastal communities (Barranca Nueva, Barranca Vieja etc).
