First, you can explore the areas of La Candelaria for colonial style architecture, or go North and walk in the less famous Usaquen. Another must for any Bogota visit, is to go to Monserrate and Museo de Oro Bogota, the best museum in the country with some great insights on Colombian history and its original inhabitants.
Other neighborhoods of interest are Chapinero or Zona G. They both are in the middle of the North part of the city, giving you access to the toursitic La Candelaria and to the more upscale Zona T where you can party at the weekends. Chapinero is more for students with its cool bars and clubs while Zona G would be more suited for a romantic diner.
