Sobrebarrida a la criolla (creole flank steak), huesos de marrano (bones pig), sancocho de gallina (chicken stew), cordero sudado (literraly sweating lamb), some amazing Colombian food. Doña Elvira opens from Wednesday to Sunday and public holidays, and only for lunch (11.30am to 4pm) so plan ahead. This is a real Colombian experience so backpackers or not, head there for a creole food experience.
