Most of the restaurants are located at the left side of the river, on the seashore. There you will find lunch set menus from 8.000 pesos, that come with soup, main dish (fish, chicken or meat) and juice. In the morning enjoy a great fruit salad for only 5.000 pesos!

If you are looking for some vegetarian food, Mrs. Luz Marina is known in town for preparing delicious and healthy menus for vegetarian tourists. Her place is one of the last ones in the restaurants area.

GETTING THERE

Go to Santa Marta’s main market and ask where you can take the bus to Buritaca. The journey lasts about an hour for 6.000 pesos.

The bus will leave you on the road, so you can either walk 20 to 30 minutes to the town or take a car that will take you there for 1.500 pesos per person. You can recognize the driver by their yellow t-shirt.
