There's no way you can get bored in Cartagena, even if you're there in the rainy seasons or during one of the numerous yearly celebrations.
Go diving in the nearby reefs, practice kite surfing, or just lay on one of Cartagena's beaches.
For a bit of fresh air or a lovely family day out, go to watch some crocodiles at the Villa Babilla Ecofarm.
For something a bit more local, try to attend a soccer game to cheer for Real Cartagena.
And if you stay for a while, learn Spanish under the sun or make a difference by helping some of the local charities.
